6-Steps to a Web Site

Rates

The success or failure of any project greatly depends on carefully set strategies designed to minimize and anticipate any problems which can hinder its successful completion.  Realizing this, TMH Design incorporates six basic, yet highly effective steps which ensure that any projects we undertake are done in a professional and timely manner.  Most importantly we listen to our clients needs and guide them in the development of a web presence which will greatly benefit their standing in the ever competitive marketplace.

1.  Establish Web Site Goals

We will conduct a preliminary meeting with you in person or over the telephone to determine your overall goals. To begin with, we listen carefully. Our goal is learn about your current business, customer base, and your overall marketing strategies - both internet and any other media currently in use. At this meeting, we will also discuss your budget and create a basic development schedule to fit your needs. Part of the goal setting process will be determining the basic "look" of your site -- should it mirror current print marketing media or should it have its own separate identity.

2. Site Plan and Proposal

After establishing your web site goals, an initial Site Plan is established that fits within your budget and meets your overall communication and marketing goals. Once the site plan has been reviewed and approved by your organization, we formulate a fixed bid Proposal for your review and execution.

All of our Proposals include domain registration costs and search engine submission fees and your first year's web hosting and e-mail service. This way, you will know all of your costs "up front" without any surprises at the end of the project.

 3.  Development Begins

After acceptance of our proposal, domain registration is completed and an "under construction" page is posted as soon as your domain name becomes active on the Internet.

We initially develop your site from either within our own web site or your own web location. In either case, we provide you with the internet address you can use to access the site while it is under construction. This allows you to review our ‘work in progress’ whenever you want to but does not permit casual web browsers to find your site while it is under construction.

4.  Client Reviews and Feedback

Throughout the development process, you are encouraged to review your site frequently while it is under construction. Your feedback and comments are incorporated immediately and your timely review is absolutely critical to maintain the schedule we have mutually established.

5.  Site Activation

Once final development is complete and you have conducted your Final Review, your site will be activated. Following this site activation, we will begin the search engine submission process and any other marketing programs covered in your Proposal.

6.  On-Going Support

Keeping your web site up-to-date in both content and technology is vital to its success. Your site will be designed to minimize the added cost of additional services on our part, but should you require our assistance, we will be ready to assist you.
